The "UT" structure (originally Under Ten) was designed around the 105' aerial structure. The original structure was designed to be used with an 88" high cab to get a rearmount at a 10' travel height. It was designed to take 5" out the height of the aerial side rails compared to a 105' structure. Sometimes there is the need to get into a specific station or under an overpass that the 105' structure just cannot do. The unit still boasts a 500 lb. dry tip load and has almost all the features of a conventional 105' Aerial.
